A new variant of the Bagle computer worm, which first appeared earlier this year, is spreading rapidly across the net. Bagle.B, like its predecessor, sends itself to addresses it takes from files on an infected computer's hard disk.
According to anti-virus company PandaSoftware, Bagle.B spreads via email and arrives with the subject line ‘ID’ followed by various random characters and the message text ‘Yours ID’. The attachment itself has a name generated at random.
